# Create Team Group Mapping

`POST /v3/identity-providers/{idpId}/team-group-mappings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://global.api.konghq.com`
- URL: `https://global.api.konghq.com/v3/identity-providers/{idpId}/team-group-mappings`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer

Creates a new team group mapping for the specified identity provider.
A mapping associates an identity provider group with a Konnect team.

## Request body

- object
  - `team_id` string, uuid, required: The Konnect team ID to associate with the identity provider group.
  - `group` string, required: The identity provider group name. Group names are case sensitive.

## Response `201`

A single team group mapping.

- IdpTeamGroupMapping: A mapping between a Konnect team and an identity provider group.
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Contains a unique identifier used for this resource.
  - `team_id` string, uuid, required: The Konnect team ID.
  - `group` string, required: The identity provider group name. Group names are case sensitive.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity creation date.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity update date.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthenticated
- `403`: Permission denied
- `404`: Not Found
- `409`: Conflict
