# Create Config Store Secret

`POST /v2/control-planes/{controlPlaneId}/config-stores/{configStoreId}/secrets`

## Request

Creates a secret for a Config Store.

## Request body

- CreateConfigStoreSecret
  - `key` string, required
  - `value` string, required

## Response `201`

Config Store Secret

- ConfigStoreSecret
  - `key` string
  - `created_at` string, date-time: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity creation date.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity update date.
