# Get a Config Store Secret

`GET /v2/control-planes/{controlPlaneId}/config-stores/{configStoreId}/secrets/{key}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://global.api.konghq.com`
- URL: `https://global.api.konghq.com/v2/control-planes/{controlPlaneId}/config-stores/{configStoreId}/secrets/{key}`

Returns the secret entity for the Config Store. Secret values once stored cannot be retrieved.

Config Store Secret

- ConfigStoreSecret
  - `key` string
  - `created_at` string, date-time: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity creation date.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity update date.
