# Create an AI Gateway Config Store Secret

`POST /v1/ai-gateways/{gatewayId}/config-stores/{configStoreIdOrName}/secrets`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://global.api.konghq.com`

Creates a secret for an AI Gateway Config Store.

## Request body

- CreateAIGatewayConfigStoreSecretRequest
  - `key` string, required: The unique key identifying the secret within the Config Store.
  - `value` string, required: The secret value. Once stored, this value cannot be retrieved.

## Response `201`

AI Gateway Config Store Secret created successfully.

  - `key` string, required: The unique key identifying the secret within the Config Store.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity creation date.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: An ISO-8601 timestamp representation of entity update date.
