# Update Team

`PATCH /v3/portals/{portalId}/teams/{teamId}`

## Request

Updates an individual developer team for a portal.

## Request body

- PortalUpdateTeamRequest: Properties to update on a team.
  - `name` string, nullable: The name of the team.
  - `description` string, nullable: The description of the team.
  - `can_own_applications` boolean, nullable: Whether the team is allowed to own applications.
  - `konnect_managed` boolean: Indicates whether the team is managed by Konnect.

## Response `200`

Details about a team of developers in a portal.

- PortalTeamResponse: Details about a developer team.
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `name` string, required: The name of the team.
  - `description` string, required: The description of the team.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
  - `can_own_applications` boolean, nullable: Whether the team is allowed to own applications.
  - `konnect_managed` boolean: Indicates whether the team is managed by Konnect.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
