# Disconnect chat channel

`DELETE /{channel_id}/disconnect`

## Request

After disconnecting the channel, you will stop receiving webhooks for outgoing messages.  The “initiate conversation” option will also be disabled in the lead card (upon the expiration of the UI/UX cache).
