# Parse Query

`POST /api/search/parse`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.kolens.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

## Request body

- ParseRequest
  - `query` string, required
  - `platform` string, nullable: tiktok | instagram | x | douyin

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ParseResponse
  - `keyword` string, required: Short scrapable term to run
  - `filters` object: Keys are /api/kols query params — forward as-is
  - `parsed` boolean, required: False = we could not improve on the input; keyword is unchanged
  - `notes` string: What we understood, in the user's language
  - `original` string: The brief exactly as submitted
  - `needs_topic` boolean: Conditions understood but no topic named — ask the user for one. Running the brief as-is would be a guaranteed zero-result charge.
