# Force Tick

`POST /api/admin/scheduler/tick`

## Request

Run one synchronous discovery scheduler ``tick()`` and return its
summary. Bypasses the normal 60s sleep so an operator can verify the
loop body end-to-end without waiting.

Refuses with 409 when ``SCRAPER_SCHEDULER_ENABLED=false`` on this
replica — the loop is disabled, so a manual tick would step on the
single-owner invariant.

Requires the ``X-Admin-Secret`` header (see api/dependencies.py).
