# Generate preview images for a carousel template

`POST /api/v1/carousel/templates/generate-preview-images`

## Request

Generates AI preview images based on background image hints in the template

## Request body

  - `carousel_template_id` string, uuid, required: UUID of the carousel template to generate preview images for

## Response `200`

Successfully generated preview images

  - `template` object: The updated template with preview image URLs

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `404`: Template not found
- `500`: Server error during image generation or storage
