# Preview File Type Values

`GET /backfills/preview-file-type-values`

Fetch all distinct file_type values across the entire files table and
attempt to resolve each to a valid DocumentTypeEnum slug.

Useful for auditing the file_type column before running a normalization
backfill. Values that cannot be resolved are listed prominently under
``unresolved`` — those will need either a manual mapping or a new
DocumentTypeEnum member before the backfill can proceed.
