# Get Adverse Media

Screening runs already collected for a company, newest screening first.

A pure DB read: no Exa call, no monitor provisioning, no config push. Opening
the Negative News panel is not a decision to spend anything — and the panel
polls this every 5s while a run is in flight. Provisioning and triggering
belong to the write paths (vendor creation, ``POST /news/trigger``); run
state arrives by reconciliation — the panel's sync poll or the nightly
``ExaMonitorSyncWorkflow``.

An unmonitored company reads as empty, which the UI shows as "No screening
has run yet" next to the button that starts one.
