# Backfill Ep Definition Labels

`POST /backfills/backfill-ep-definition-labels`

Seed DEFAULT_COMPLIANCE_LABELS onto definitions with no configured labels
(never overwrites an existing custom label set), and seed
label_instructions with the legacy heuristics prompt onto plain-check
definitions (inherent_risk_template_id IS NULL) that have no instructions
yet — risk-factor definitions never used the heuristics prompt, so they
are left empty.
