# Refresh Subscriptions

`POST /subscriptions/refresh`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://development.knotapi.com`
- URL: `https://development.knotapi.com/subscriptions/refresh`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Initiate an on-demand refresh of subscription data for a user's merchant account.

## Request body

- object
  - `merchant_id` integer, required: Unique identifier for the merchant.
  - `external_user_id` string, required: Your unique identifier for the user.

## Response `202`

Refresh request accepted.

  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request.
- `401`: Unauthorized request.
- `403`: Forbidden request.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
- `500`: Internal server error.
