# Initialize snowflake sandbox with data

`POST /sandbox/snowflake/{sandbox_id}/initialize`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Initialize the sandbox with snowflake-specific data following the defined schema.

## Path parameters

- `sandbox_id` string, required: The unique sandbox identifier

## Query parameters

- `init_default_data` boolean: If true, use default test data for initialization

## Request body

- SnowflakeDataInput: Complete Snowflake sandbox data structure. Hierarchical structure for initialization: - Databases contain Schemas - Schemas contain Tables - Tables contain Columns and Rows
  - `databases` SnowflakeDatabaseInput[]: List of databases with their schemas
    - `name` string, required: Database name, cannot be 'SNOWFLAKE' or 'USER$...' since they are default databases
    - `description` string, nullable: Database description
    - `schemas` SnowflakeSchemaInput[], nullable: Schemas in this database
      - `name` string, required: Schema name, cannot be 'PUBLIC' since it's a default schema
      - `tables` SnowflakeTableInput[], nullable: Tables in this schema
        - `name` string, required: Table name
        - `columns` SnowflakeColumnInput[], required: List of columns in the table
          - `name` string, required: Column name
          - `data_type` string, required: Column data type (e.g., VARCHAR, NUMBER, TIMESTAMP)
          - `nullable` boolean: Whether the column can be NULL
          - `default_value` string, nullable: Default value for the column
        - `rows` SnowflakeRowInput[], nullable: Initial data rows for the table
          - `values` object, required: Column name to value mapping for the row

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- InitializeSandboxResponse: Response model for sandbox initialization
  - `sandbox_id` string, required: Sandbox identifier
  - `status` 'idle' | 'occupied' | 'error', required: Status of a sandbox instance - matches database enum
  - `message` string, required: Initialization result message
