# Get execution status

`GET /local-sandbox/{local_sandbox_id}/execution-status`

## Request

Returns the current status of an execution: pending, running, completed, or failed.

## Path parameters

- `local_sandbox_id` string, required: The local sandbox identifier

## Query parameters

- `execution_name` string, required: Name of the execution to check status for

## Response `200`

- ExecutionStatusResponse
  - `status` string, required: Current status: pending | running | completed | failed
