# Configure Slack approvals and failure alerts

`PUT /v1/integrations/slack`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.klanexai.com`
- URL: `https://api.klanexai.com/v1/integrations/slack`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Secrets are KMS-sealed at rest. Point your Slack app's Interactivity Request URL at POST /integrations/slack/actions to make the Approve/Reject buttons work.

## Request body

- object
  - `webhook_url` string, uri, required: Slack incoming-webhook URL (https://hooks.slack.com/...).
  - `signing_secret` string, required: Slack app signing secret, used to verify button callbacks.
  - `notify_on_failure` boolean

## Response `200`

Stored (sealed).

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed request (bad URL, unsupported method, invalid JSON, bad filter).
- `401`: Missing or invalid X-API-Key.
- `429`: Per-tenant rate limit exceeded; retry after Retry-After seconds.
