# Retrieve identification

`GET /insect_id/identification/{access_token}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://agents.kindwise.com`

- Auth: none required

Can be used to

- retrieve identification result when identification is created with `async=True`
    
- retrieve past identifications (available for 6 months)
    
- retrieve identification results with different details or languages

## Other responses

- `429`: Free daily trial limit reached for this client IP (10 queries / rolling 24 hours). The same status is also returned if the upstream Kindwise API is out of credits.
