# Create a spec node

`POST /api/v1/projects/{projectId}/spec/nodes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.khotan.com`
- URL: `https://app.khotan.com/api/v1/projects/{projectId}/spec/nodes`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Creates a child under an existing spec node. Use this to add a delivery phase under the Milestones section, or an item under a phase. The thirteen section headings are created with the project and cannot be added here.
