# Bind a project to Linear

`POST /api/v1/projects/{projectId}/linear`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.khotan.com`
- URL: `https://app.khotan.com/api/v1/projects/{projectId}/linear`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Binds this project to an existing Linear project, or clears the binding when linearProjectId is null. Binding adopts that project's milestones read-only. To create a fresh empty Linear project instead, use the mint action.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `linearProjectId` string, nullable, required: The Linear project to bind. Null clears the binding.

## Response `200`

The Linear project now bound, or null if cleared.

  - `bound` string, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication is missing or invalid.
- `403`: The caller is not permitted to perform this action.
- `404`: The resource was not found.
- `422`: Response.
- `429`: Too many requests; retry after the indicated delay.
