# Delete a user

`DELETE /api/users/{customer_identifier}/`

## Request

Permanently deletes the user.

## Path parameters

- `customer_identifier` string, required

## Query parameters

- `environment` 'prod' | 'test'

## Response `204`

User deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `403`: The API key is missing, invalid or expired.
- `404`: Not Found
- `429`: Rate Limited
- `500`: Internal Server Error
