# Delete a custom behavior

`DELETE /api/pulses/behaviors/custom/{id}/`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes a custom behavior. New spans stop being scored for it within about a minute. Scores already recorded are not deleted.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Deleted.

## Other responses

- `403`: Forbidden: the API key is missing, invalid or expired; the key doesn't grant `custom_behaviors:delete` (Write access does); behaviors are turned off for the organization.
- `404`: No custom behavior with this ID in your organization.
- `429`: Rate limited. This endpoint allows 30 requests per minute per organization.
