# Create a point of sale

`POST /v1/points-of-sale`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prod.keyban.io`
- URL: `https://api.prod.keyban.io/v1/points-of-sale`
- Auth: `X-Api-Key` (a scheme the document does not define)

Create a new point of sale for the organization, providing location and configuration data.

## Request body

- CreatePointOfSaleDto
  - `application` string, uuid, nullable: UUID reference to the Keyban application linked to this point of sale (optional)
  - `name` string, nullable: Display name of the point of sale (optional)
  - `zeltyRestaurantId` number, nullable: Zelty system restaurant identifier (optional)

## Response `201`

Point of sale created successfully

  - `id` string, uuid, required: Entity UUID
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Creation date (ISO 8601)
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required: Last update date (ISO 8601)
  - `organization` string, uuid, required: UUID of the organization that owns this point of sale
  - `application` string, uuid, nullable: UUID reference to the Keyban application linked to this point of sale (optional)
  - `name` string, nullable: Display name of the point of sale (optional)
  - `zeltyRestaurantId` number, nullable: Zelty system restaurant identifier (optional)
