# Create a NAV record

`POST /v1/invest/funds/{fundId}/nav`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prod.keyban.io`

- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Create a new NAV record for the investment fund.

## Path parameters

- `fundId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- CreateInvestNavDto
  - `value` number, required: Total Net Asset Value of the fund at this point in time, expressed in the fund's own currency (see `fund.currency`). Divide by the fund's total share count to obtain the per-share NAV.

## Response `201`

NAV record created successfully

- InvestNavDto
  - `fund` string, uuid, required: UUID of the investment fund this NAV record belongs to.
  - `value` number, required: Total Net Asset Value of the fund at this point in time, expressed in the fund's own currency (see `fund.currency`). Divide by the fund's total share count to obtain the per-share NAV.
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Entity UUID
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Creation date (ISO 8601)
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required: Last update date (ISO 8601)
  - `date` string, date-time, required: ISO 8601 datetime of the NAV record (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ssZ). Typically recorded once per business day at market close.
