# Rotate certification key

`POST /v1/dpp/certification-key/rotate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prod.keyban.io`
- URL: `https://api.prod.keyban.io/v1/dpp/certification-key/rotate`
- Auth: `X-Api-Key` (a scheme the document does not define)

Generate a new certification key and queue on-chain rotation jobs for all registered networks. Old certificates remain valid.

## Response `200`

- RotateCertificationKeyResponseDto
  - `newKeyId` string, uuid, required: ID of the newly generated key
  - `newPublicKey` string, required: Public key of the new certification key
  - `rotationJobsQueued` integer, required: Number of on-chain rotation jobs queued
