# List Category Catalog

`GET /v1/category-catalog`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.kevel.co`
- URL: `https://api.kevel.co/v1/category-catalog`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Adzerk-ApiKey`

Returns the categories you can choose from when you set up [category targeting](doc:category): the categories in your network's `kevel/targetable-categories` table. It returns the first 10,000 categories in ascending `Id` order, and does not say if there are more.

## Query parameters

- `search` string

## Response `200`

200

- object[]
  - `Id` string: The category ID. This is the value to send in `placements[].category` and the value saved in `CategoryTargeting`.
  - `Name` string, nullable: The category name, or null.
  - `ParentId` string, nullable: The ID of the parent category, or null.

## Other responses

- `400`: Your network has no `kevel/targetable-categories` table, or has more than one.
