# Change the project settings

`POST /projects/{projectId}`

## Request body

- object
  - `key` string: Human-readable project key (1-10 uppercase alphanumeric characters, must start with a letter). Send an empty string to clear. "ORG" and "GLOBAL" are reserved.
  - `repositories` object[]
    - `url` string: Repository URL. While SSH cloning is enabled for the organization, a repository with an Oracle Cloud DevOps ssh:// URL keeps the SSH key selected in the project settings; one without a key is refused, since the API cannot select one.
    - `mainRef` string
    - `releaseRef` string
    - `browseUrl` string, nullable: Console URL for hosts whose clone URL cannot be browsed (Oracle DevOps code repositories). Omit to keep the stored value; send null or an empty string to clear it.
    - `authUser` string
    - `authToken` string
  - `settings` object: Object with advanced setting names as keys and a JSON value for each setting
