# Upload Config

`POST /api/configs/uploads`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kernelscan.io`
- URL: `https://kernelscan.io/api/configs/uploads`
- Auth: none declared

Stage a kernel .config for later consumption by create_product /
update_product (REST or MCP).

This is the out-of-band path the LLM-driven MCP flow uses: the caller
POSTs the file here over HTTP (no token budget), keeps the returned
``config_upload_id``, then passes it into ``create_product`` /
``update_product`` as ``config_upload_id`` instead of inlining the
config text. Uploads are per-user, single-use, and expire after 30
minutes.
