# Get API key identity

`GET /v1/auth/user`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.keenable.ai`
- URL: `https://api.keenable.ai/v1/auth/user`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns identity information (user, organization) for the authenticated API key.

## Response `200`

API key identity

- ApiKeyIdentity
  - `user_id` string, required
  - `email` string, nullable, required
  - `display_name` string, nullable, required
  - `org_id` string, required
  - `org_name` string, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key – update your API key or contact support
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — slow down or upgrade your plan
- `500`: Internal server error
