# Create a table (not allowed)

`POST /v2/storage/tables`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://connection.keboola.com`
- URL: `https://connection.keboola.com/v2/storage/tables`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-StorageApi-Token`
  - API key in header `X-KBC-ManageApiToken`
  - HTTP bearer
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/keboola/apis/keboola-storage-api/docs/v2/storage/tables/post.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Rejects every request with 405. A table always belongs to a bucket, so it has to be created through a bucket-scoped endpoint: `POST /buckets/{bucketId}/tables`, `POST /buckets/{bucketId}/tables-async` or `POST /buckets/{bucketId}/tables-definition`.

## Other responses

- `403`: Access denied.
- `404`: The branch was not found.
- `405`: Always returned (`storage.tables.createNotAllowed`).
