# Translate a clip's captions

`POST /jobs/{id}/clips/{index}/translate-captions`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Translates the clip's burned-in captions (word timings kept, audio untouched; use rerender with dub for a voice) and re-renders it. Creator feature: 403 with code 'upgrade_required' otherwise. Does NOT consume video quota. Poll status_url (GET /jobs/{id}/rerenders/{rerender_id}). Requires write scope.
