# Start a browser test session

`POST /v1/test-sessions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://voice-api.kata.ai`
- URL: `https://voice-api.kata.ai/v1/test-sessions`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Partner-Key`

Creates a room with your agent and returns what a LiveKit client needs to join it.
Counts toward your limits and credits like a call.

## Response `200`

Session created

- TestSession
  - `call_id` string
  - `room` string
  - `livekit_url` string
  - `token` string: LiveKit participant token for the browser or SDK client

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, unknown or revoked partner key
- `402`: Less than one billing block of credit left; nothing was placed
- `403`: Tenant suspended
- `429`: Concurrency or daily limit reached
- `500`: The agent could not be dispatched
- `503`: A platform dependency is unavailable or the credit check could not run; nothing was placed
