# Deleting an existing Estimate

`DELETE /estimates/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mavenlink.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.mavenlink.com/api/v1/estimates/{id}`
- Auth: none declared

Deletes the estimate and it's associated scenarios, scenario resources,
and scenario resource allocations.


The response will contain no content and an HTTP 204 status code if the request was
successful, or a [standard Kantata OX error message](#section/Errors) explaining why the object could not be deleted.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Response `204`

Estimate has been deleted.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized request
- `403`: Forbidden request
- `404`: Page Not Found
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `503`: Service is unavailable
