# Delete RFQ Batch

`DELETE /communications/rfq_batches/{rfq_batch_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://external-api.kalshi.com/trade-api/v2`
- URL: `https://external-api.kalshi.com/trade-api/v2/communications/rfq_batches/{rfq_batch_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-KEY` and API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-SIGNATURE` and API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-TIMESTAMP`

Close an RFQ batch and all of its child RFQs. Open batch quotes on it are cancelled. An accepted batch can no longer be closed: it executes or expires as a unit.

## Path parameters

- `rfq_batch_id` string, required

## Response `204`

RFQ batch deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - invalid input
- `401`: Unauthorized - authentication required
- `404`: Resource not found
- `500`: Internal server error
