# Get RFQ Batch Best Quotes

`GET /communications/rfq_batches/{rfq_batch_id}/best_quotes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://external-api.kalshi.com/trade-api/v2`
- URL: `https://external-api.kalshi.com/trade-api/v2/communications/rfq_batches/{rfq_batch_id}/best_quotes`
- Auth: API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-KEY` and API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-SIGNATURE` and API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-TIMESTAMP`

Get the best open bid on each side of every child of your RFQ batch, across makers. Accepting the batch fills at these prices. Makers are not identified. Only the batch creator can read the best quotes, and a batch that is no longer open has none.

## Path parameters

- `rfq_batch_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Best quotes retrieved successfully

- GetRFQBatchBestQuotesResponse
  - `best_quotes` RFQBatchBestQuotes, required
    - `rfq_batch_id` string, required: UUID of the RFQ batch
    - `status` 'open' | 'accepted' | 'closed', required: Status of an RFQ batch. An open batch takes batch quotes; an accepted batch is waiting for its winning makers to confirm or is executing; a closed batch is finished.
    - `version` integer, required: Increases whenever a best bid changes
    - `updated_ts` string, date-time: When a best bid last changed
    - `yes_complete` boolean, required: Whether every child has a YES bid, so the batch can be accepted on the yes side
    - `no_complete` boolean, required: Whether every child has a NO bid, so the batch can be accepted on the no side
    - `rfqs` RFQBatchBestQuote[], required: One entry per child RFQ, in batch order
      - `rfq_id` string, required: UUID of the child RFQ
      - `market_ticker` string, required: The child's combo market
      - `yes_bid_dollars` string: Fixed-point US dollar string. Most request fields accept 2-4 decimal places (e.g., "0.56", "0.5600"); responses emit up to 6. Valid quote intervals for a given market are constrained by that market's price level structure.
      - `no_bid_dollars` string: Fixed-point US dollar string. Most request fields accept 2-4 decimal places (e.g., "0.56", "0.5600"); responses emit up to 6. Valid quote intervals for a given market are constrained by that market's price level structure.
      - `yes_contracts_offered_fp` string: Fixed-point contract count string (2 decimals, e.g., "10.00"; referred to as "fp" in field names). Requests accept 0-2 decimal places (e.g., "10", "10.0", "10.00"); responses always emit 2 decimals. Fractional contract values (e.g., "2.50") are supported; the minimum granularity is 0.01 contracts.
      - `no_contracts_offered_fp` string: Fixed-point contract count string (2 decimals, e.g., "10.00"; referred to as "fp" in field names). Requests accept 0-2 decimal places (e.g., "10", "10.0", "10.00"); responses always emit 2 decimals. Fractional contract values (e.g., "2.50") are supported; the minimum granularity is 0.01 contracts.
