# Accept Quote

`PUT /communications/quotes/{quote_id}/accept`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://external-api.kalshi.com/trade-api/v2`

- Auth: API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-KEY` and API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-SIGNATURE` and API key in header `KALSHI-ACCESS-TIMESTAMP`

DEPRECATED: Use PUT /communications/rfqs/{rfq_id}/quotes/{quote_id}/accept instead. Endpoint for accepting a quote. This will require the quoter to confirm.

## Path parameters

- `quote_id` string, required

## Request body

- AcceptQuoteRequest
  - `accepted_side` 'yes' | 'no', required: The side of the quote to accept (yes or no)

## Response `204`

Quote accepted successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - invalid input
- `401`: Unauthorized - authentication required
- `404`: Resource not found
- `500`: Internal server error
