# Refresh a Synthetic Book lease

`POST /v1/synthetics/subscriptions/{subscription_id}/refresh`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://execution.kairos.trade`
- URL: `https://execution.kairos.trade/v1/synthetics/subscriptions/{subscription_id}/refresh`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Client-Id` and API key in header `X-Api-Key` and API key in header `X-Api-Secret`

Refreshes an unexpired lease owned by the authenticated user. Refresh every five minutes; a lease expires after ten minutes and an expired lease must be recreated.

Lease refreshed.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid account credentials.
- `403`: Invalid mutation credentials.
- `404`: Lease does not exist or is owned by another account.
- `410`: Lease expired in the control plane or materializer.
- `429`: Synthetic Books request rate limit exceeded.
- `502`: Private materializer unavailable or returned an invalid response.
- `503`: Synthetic Books is not configured on this execution node.
