# Delete Context

`DELETE /api/v1/contexts/{context_id}`

Delete a context and its collection.

Only context owner can delete their context. The context, its memories and
its files are soft-deleted together and the files' bytes leave the storage
quota at once (#1960); an admin restore within 6 days brings the files back
unless the same content was uploaded again in the meantime.

Args:
    context_id: Context UUID to delete

Raises:
    400: If trying to delete default context
    403: If not context owner
    404: If context not found
