# Delete data quality rules for a single field

`DELETE /v4/workflows/{workflowId}/schema-validation-rules/{fieldName}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.kadoa.com`
- URL: `https://api.kadoa.com/v4/workflows/{workflowId}/schema-validation-rules/{fieldName}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Remove all data quality rules for a single schema field on a workflow.
Other fields' rules are left untouched.

## Path parameters

- `workflowId` string, required
- `fieldName` string, required

## Response `200`

Rules removed (or no-op if the field had no rules). Returns the remaining ruleset.

  - `rules` WorkflowSchemaValidationRules, required: Map keyed by schema field name, with the per-field data quality rules for that field.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid workflow ID format or missing fieldName
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Workflow not found
- `500`: Internal server error
