# Delete a variable

`DELETE /v4/variables/{variableId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.kadoa.com`
- URL: `https://api.kadoa.com/v4/variables/{variableId}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Permanently delete a variable by its ID. A secret bound to a connector returns 409 Conflict.
