# Get the placement embed library

`GET /v2/sites/{site_id}/placements/{placement_id}/embed.js`

Retrieve the placement library for the given site and placement ID

The response contains the placement definitions in addition to the javascript library

## Path parameters

- `site_id` string, required
- `placement_id` string, required

## Response `200`

A javascript placement library with placement definition

## Other responses

- `403` — Access is Forbidden This error commonly occurs when a user either does not have a token or uses an invalid token to request an asset that requires [URL signing](https://docs.jwplayer.com/platform/reference/protect-your-content-with-signed-urls). It may also occur due to geoblocking, account suspension, deletion, or limits reached.
- `404` — Not Found The requested asset could not be found.
