# Create a media rendition

`POST /v2/sites/{site_id}/media/{media_id}/media_renditions/`

  - `last_modified` string: Date and time at which the resource was most recently modified
  - `type` string: Name of the type of resource.
  - `relationships` object: Ancilliary resources associated to the primary resource being read
    - `media_rendition_template` RelationshipRead
      - `id` string: Unique identifier for a resource
      - `type` string: Resource type
  - `metadata` object
  - `height` integer
  - `width` integer
  - `format` string: Extension format of the rendition
  - `delivery_url` string: URL to access the media rendition This URL is only returned when the media rendition status is `ready`.
  - `error_message` string: A human-readable error message for describing failures
  - `status` 'failed' | 'processing' | 'ready'
  - `filesize` integer: Size of the media rendition, in bytes

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid JSON request body
- `404`: Resource with ID supplied does not exist in account and object namespace
- `409`: Request conflicts with state of target resource
