# Delete a media

`DELETE /v2/sites/{site_id}/media/{media_id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.jwplayer.com`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Deletes the media for the given ID

## Path parameters

- `site_id` string, required: Unique identifier for a resource
- `media_id` string, required: Unique identifier for a resource

## Response `204`

Resource successfully deleted

## Other responses

- `404`: Resource with ID supplied does not exist in account and object namespace
