# Update a specific job

`PATCH /jobs/{job_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/scheduler` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/scheduler/jobs/{job_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in query parameter `token`

## Path parameters

- `job_id` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateJob
  - `status` 'CREATED' | 'QUEUED' | 'IN_PROGRESS' | 'COMPLETED' | 'FAILED' | 'STOPPING' | 'STOPPED'
  - `name` string
  - `compute_type` string

## Response `204`

Successfully updated the job.

- `500`: Server error
