# Create a job from a job definition

`POST /job_definitions/{job_definition_id}/jobs`

## Request

- Base URL: `/scheduler` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/scheduler/job_definitions/{job_definition_id}/jobs`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in query parameter `token`

## Path parameters

- `job_definition_id` string, required

## Request body

- CreateJobFromDefinition

Successfully created the job from the job definition.
