# Retrieve a single Customer by email.

`GET /customers/email/{email}.json`

## Request

    - `id` integer: Unique identifier of the Customer
    - `email` string: Email of the Customer
    - `phone` string, nullable: Phone of the Customer
    - `phone_prefix` string, nullable: International prefix of the Customer's phone (e.g. `+56`)
    - `fullname` string: Customer fullname retrieved from the default billing address. Defaults to customer email if no name is found.
    - `status` 'approved' | 'pending' | 'disabled': Status of the Customer
    - `accepts_marketing` boolean: Indicates whether the Customer accepts marketing or not
    - `accepted_marketing_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the Customer last accepted marketing
    - `cancelled_marketing_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the Customer last cancelled marketing
    - `unconfirmed_email` string, nullable: New email waiting for the Customer to confirm it
    - `shipping_addresses` CustomerAddress[]
      - `name` string: Name
      - `surname` string: Surname
      - `address` string: Street address
      - `city` string: City
      - `postal` string, nullable: Postal code
      - `municipality` string, nullable: Municipality name (code when the name is unknown)
      - `neighbourhood` string, nullable: Third level of administrative subdivision used only for some countries (e.g. Mexico)
      - `region` string: Region code (FIPS)
      - `country` string: Country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2)
      - `taxid` string, nullable: Tax id
      - `default` boolean: If this is the default address of its type
    - `billing_addresses` CustomerAddress[]
      - `name` string: Name
      - `surname` string: Surname
