# Device Lock With Generated Pin

`POST /api/v2/applemdms/{deviceManagerObjectId}/devices/{deviceObjectId}/lockwithgeneratedpin`

This endpoint locks a macOS device with an auto-generated PIN and optionally displays a message and phone number on the lock screen.
