# Search Organizations

`POST /api/search/organizations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://console.jumpcloud.com`
- URL: `https://console.jumpcloud.com/api/search/organizations`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/jumpcloud/apis/jumpcloud-console-api/docs/api/search/organizations/post.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

This endpoint will return Organization data based on your search parameters. This endpoint WILL NOT allow you to add a new Organization.

You can use the supported parameters and pass those in the body of request.

The parameters must be passed as Content-Type application/json.

  - `results` object[]: The list of organizations.
    - `_id` string: The ID of the organization.
    - `displayName` string: The name of the organization.
    - `logoUrl` string, nullable: The organization logo image URL.
  - `totalCount` integer: The total number of organizations.

- `401`: Unauthorized
