# Delete a Duo Account

`DELETE /duo/accounts/{id}`

Removes the specified Duo account, an error will be returned if the account has some Duo application used in a protected resource.

  - `id` string, required: object ID
  - `name` string: Duo application name.
  - `readOnly` boolean: When true, the credential is governed by the primary organization and cannot be modified.
