# Share Credential

`POST /v2/teams/{team_id}/credentials`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.jubjubapp.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.jubjubapp.com/v2/teams/{team_id}/credentials`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Share one of your credentials with the team.

IMPORTANT: Only the credential owner can share it.
Requires CREDENTIALS_SHARE permission.
Cannot share the same credential twice with the same team.

Every check is _share_one's, unchanged. After a share (new or
reactivated) the team owner is emailed (2026-10-05).

## Request body

- ShareCredentialRequest: Request to share a credential with the team.
  - `credential_id` string, required: ID of the credential to share
  - `nickname` string, nullable: Custom label for this credential in the team

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- SharedCredentialResponse: Response for a shared credential. PRIVACY (2026-09-25): the sharer is `owner` (public profile, team-scoped member_ref) and `owner_name` (public name). `owner_profile_id` and `owner_email` are filled only for the sharer themself (`is_mine`) and a platform admin.

  - `owner` PublicPersonResponse: Another person as anyone may see them (founder's rule, 2026-09-25). Never a profile ID, never an email. `member_ref` is the opaque, per-context handle routes accept for this person (null where there is no context to mint one in). `display_name` is a public name or, with none, the person's role and team where the response knows them ("Admin (via Kong)"), else "Member" (2026-10-08; never "JubJub member").
