# Save Platform Default

`PUT /v2/platform-defaults/{credential_id}`

## Request

Save (create or update) default settings for a credential.

Only the credential owner can save defaults.
The settings dict is partial — include only the fields you want as defaults.

  - `settings` object, required: Partial settings dict (only the fields the user saved as default)
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
